Great Lengths Process

Great Length Hair Extensions are made from human hair and are applied with two different methods depending on your hair type and the look that you want to achieve.

Using the classic Great Lengths method, single strand bundles are applied approximately one-half inch from the scalp. The key differentiator with the new Air Pressure System is that the bundles are applied simultaneously and may contain different colored hair for superior blending. Both Great Lengths application methods are designed for all hair types, so the appropriate method is not based upon hair type, but rather upon the intended result.

"I can't believe how quickly Danielle was able to make my hair the envy of all of my friends!"
- Abby, Scottsdale

The Great Lengths Hair Extensions application method takes 1 to 4 hours, and simply requires you to relax in the chair while Danielle applies the extensions. No other system treats your hair in such a gentle but effective method, and this is because of the superior bonding system of Great Lengths. The bond is a synthesized keratin protein polymer, designed to mimic the structure of human hair. In fact, this bond is so like human hair that it is able to expand and contract with your natural hair. The Great Lengths application method and bonding method has put an end to gluing, knotting and welding that is unpleasant and painful.

In sharp contrast to most hair extension systems, styling tools, care and styling products are NOT off limits. Great Lengths truly becomes "your hair" and can be treated as such. Once Danielle has matched your color and blended your new hair, no one will notice a visible difference between your natural hair and the Great Lengths Hair Extensions. However, most clients share that people do notice that something is "different" or how great they look with their new hair.

Unlike most extension methods, no touch up is needed. Great Lengths recommends that the extensions be removed and replaced every 3 to 5 months. Unlike most salons, Danielle's extension service includes the removal of the extensions, to insure careful non-damaging removal.
